Endodontics – treatment of root canals
Endodontics deals with treating diseases of the dental pulp (nerve) and / or the tissue surrounding the tooth. When a developing caries process is not stopped on time, there is a risk of penetration into the pulp (nerve) of the tooth. This infection is not always accompanied by pain. It requires that the nerve should be removed and the teeth canals have to be cleaned and filled with special equipment. This will prevent any penetration around the tooth, infection and development of a number of unpleasant conditions (abscess, granuloma, etc.). Sometimes root canal treatment is required when a tooth has already been treated, but the infection has not been completely eliminated and continues to develop.
In our clinic endodontic treatment is conducted according to current protocols, which ensure maximum survival of the tooth.
